Fact: when two architects are getting married, it’s bound to be a beautiful wedding. Amy & Den’s wedding was such an amazing reflection of who they are and where they’re from (Den is from Mississippi & Amy is from Alabama – you’ll see those state outlines show up in their decorations.) Since Amy & Den had to plan their Alabama wedding from afar, we were never able to meet in person until the day of their ceremony, but I could tell from our first Skype conversation just how amazing all of their handmade wedding details were going to be. From the making the A + D marquee letters on the walls to crafting the wooden house that held the wedding rings, they put so much creativity and hard work into their big day, and it sure did pay off. Oh and did I mention that they picked the most incredible reception venue? Their reception was held at the Historic Roundhouse Depot in Huntsville, and it was the perfect blank canvas for these two creative souls to create the wedding of their dreams. And when I say that these two and their guests had a fantastic time dancing the night away at their reception on top of their Mississippi/Alabama outlined dance floor, I truly couldn’t mean it more. People who go all out on the dance floor are my kind of people, and that’s exactly what people did at this wedding. Amy & Den, it was seriously such a joy getting to know you both through our Skype conversations and then even more on your actual wedding day. You guys kept me laughing and smiling all day, and I wish you both the absolute best!
